Cheese tartlets from scalded dough

Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 spoon tip salt
  • 130g Glarus alp cheese (mild or spicy as desired)
  • 70 g butter
  • 130 g flour
  • 3 eggs



Boil the milk, salt, cheese and butter. Pour in the flour all at once and stir vigorously until the dough separates from the pot.

Let boil a little. Remove from heat.

Stir in the eggs one by one. Using two spoons, place small mounds on a greased baking tray.

Bake at 175 °C / 20-30 minutes until golden brown.

This dish is suitable as a side dish with meat and vegetables or just with a salad or simply together with a glass of wine.
