Alp cheese country potatoes

Ingredients for 5 persons

  • Spice mix 3 tbsp rapeseed oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp curcuma, 1 tbsp parsley, 1 tbsp chives
  • 1 kg waxy potatoes coarsely cut lengthwise
  • 70 – 100 g alp cheese cut into cubes

Baking paper for the tray



Preheat the oven to 220° C. Mix spices in oil in a bowl, then tip the potatoes in. Spread on the tray and bake for 30 minutes.

Spread the alp cheese cubes over the potatoes, leave in the oven for 2 minutes, and serve.


Dishes with alp cheese can be very simple – for here less is more. In the past, many families lived on potatoes and cheese; this traditional tried and tested dish is experiencing a revival in modern cuisine – a real pleasure together with a glass of grape juice or wine!
